STAFF at McColl’s newsagent, at Bordon’s Forest Shopping Centre, raised more than £1,100 for charity at a Hallowe’en fundraiser.
As well as wearing fancy dress to work on Saturday, October 29, staff at the shop hosted a variety of fundraising activities, all in aid of research by St George’s Hospital, Tooting, and the University of London into cardiac death in young people.
Croydon-based McColl’s Retail Group raised £209,500 during its Hallowe’en charity campaign for St George’s.
McColl’s area manager Carole Harris said that the store had raised more than £1,100 for the worthwhile cause.
