A BADSHOT Lea quarry manager went to court this week to get an order for the possession of a field which had been turned into a "rubbish dump" by a group of between 20 or 30 gipsy families.
Pioneer Aggregates manager Tom Paice, accompanied by a police team, was due to go to the site with the notice which orders the travellers to move on "forthwith" - or as soon as is practically possible.
