Parker Fine Art Auctions’ next sale on July 7 includes a collection of 360 old postcards of Farnham – a fascinating window on the town over the past 125 years.

It includes views of the town centre, churches, hop fields, Waverley, ‘Gostrey pleasure ground’, the castle, and several aerial views.

Little has changed in the town centre. Most of the buildings remain, and Castle Street has as many cars parked in it as it did in 1963!

The estimate for the whole collection is £800 to £1,200.
