A MASSIVE hike - in some cases a doubling - for long-stay parking fees in Alton town centre from late summer is proposed in a document about to be put forward for public discussion by East Hampshire District Council's environment services committee.
A doubling of some season ticket prices, with a reduced allocation is also mooted in the proposal, to come into effect by April 2001.
