A FARNHAM dog owner, Trisha Tattersall of Barking Mad, is calling on all dog lovers to lace up their boots and leash up their dog.

If you don’t have your own, borrow your neighbour’s and lead family and friends to Paws around the Park, a charity dog walk in aid of Battersea Dogs & Cats Home on Sunday, September 20)

Paws around the Park which raised £830 last year, will take place at Farnham Park, starting opposite Farnham Golf Course & Café. Registration is from 11.15am and the cost is £5.00 per dog which includes a free goodie bag plus entry into a fabulous prize draw.

There are two walks, the long walk starts at 12 noon lasting approximately 50 minutes and the short walk starts at 12.30pm, lasting 30 minutes.

Battersea Dogs & Cats Home rely entirely on donations from the public and support from volunteers to run its three centres and provide foster homes for dogs and cats who don’t cope well in the centres themselves.
