PLANNING permission has been granted for the conversion of a care home in Wrecclesham into a residential dwelling.
The small care home at 65 Bardsley Drive is run by the Affinity Trust, and has the capacity to provide specialist care and accommodation for three adults with learning disabilities.
However, the trust recently applied to change the legal use of the building from Class C3b (a dwelling house with an element of care) to Class C3 (a dwelling).
In his judgement, Waverley Borough Council case officer Ryan Snow said: “There would be no adverse impacts which would outweigh the benefits of the proposal.”
