POLICE are appealing for information following burglaries at works sites in Budds Lane.

Between 6pm last Thursday and 7.15am the following day, burglars entered the building site in Budds Lane, where they cut padlocks off a container and stole metal and a copper boiler. Between October 27 and October 31, thieves broke into a demolition site, in the same road, and stole lead.

James Child, from the Whitehill & Bordon Regeneration Company, which manages the sites, said: “Crimes like this on building sites are infrequent and generally opportunistic in nature.”
