THE highly popular Big Fish Little Fish Family Rave returned for its third sell out show last weekend, attracting more than 500 raving families to Farnham Maltings.

The high octane, award-winning family rave has this year teamed up with family-friendly festival, Camp Bestival, to bring their brand new 2017 theme, Pop Stars and Rock Stars, which had ravers dressing to impress.

DJs Baker and Beale kept dancers entertained as they performed rave classics and funky party music with club visuals.

And there was plenty to keep the children entertained, including the Captain Cookie craft area, filled with themed crafting, mural and playdoh. There was also a segregated baby chill out and toddler play area – as everyone needs a rest now and then.

Families made their dreams a reality, as they transformed into their favourite rock idols in the Bestival Pop Stars and Rock Stars Photo Booth – which was made easy with an array of exciting props.

Those who shared their rockstar images, were then entered into a draw to win tickets to Camp Bestival 2017.

The day concluded with a grand parachute dance, which really got dancers off their feet and moving around.

The rave is due to return later this year, so keep your eyes peeled for future dates – tickets cost £8 (£8 child, under 1s free), and are available online at farnham

maltings.com or by calling the Maltings’ box office on 01252 745444.

With the endless list of activities and events being hosted at the Maltings this coming year, there is always something to do, including The Amazing Bubble Man, taking place on Tuesday, April 11.

The man behind the bubbles, Louis Pearly promises to mesmerise audiences near and far, as he explores the enchanting dynamics of bubbles, combining comedy and artistry with audience participation and enough spell-binding bubble tricks to keep everyone coming back for more.
