SAVE Our Rail-link chairman Adam Carew has called on local authorities in East Hampshire to put their money where their mouths are to save the Bordon-Liphook rail link service.

South West Trains boss Stewart Palmer has offered to pledge the £90,000 it was going to spend on extra services to Farnham to keep the existing service going - but only if East Hampshire District Council and Hampahire County Council make up the £140,000 shortfall it costs SWT to run the buses.
