RAF Odiham grounded its entire fleet of Chinook helicopters this week as a precaution following the discovery of a fault by Boeing in one of its aircraft.

Immediate checks have been ordered on all Chinooks, including those on active service in Kosovo, after a crack was found in an engine gearbox.
