NORTH East Hampshire MP James Arbuthnot has reacted with dismay at news that stations in the county will have vital services cut – despite a Department for Transport review of South West Trains' proposal to reduce ticket office opening hours.

Mr Arbuthnot first highlighted the issue in July and had hoped that the determination carried out by Secretary of State, Geoff Hoon, who was tasked with investigating the original South West Trains' proposal, would have been more favourable for local stations in North East Hampshire.
