A CHIDDINGFOLD trader is still clearing up this week after ram-raiders virtually destroyed the front of his shop in an attempt to steal a cash machine.
A gang of four masked men in a stolen Land Rover Discovery reversed the vehicle three or four times into the front of Roberts Stores, on the main A283 Petworth Road, around 12-45 am on Friday.
