TWO Whitehill councillors have criticised a new East Hampshire District Council policy of charging for dealing with rats - a service that was previously free.
Urban rat populations are rising and people living in Bordon, or any part of East Hampshire, now have to pay £45 if they want the council's pet control department to get rid of rodents.
