TINK, the star of the RSPCA Christmas video, was one of the rescue horses ready to welcome visitors to Lockwood Equine Centre’s Christmas Fair on Sunday.

Manager Patricia Spargo said: “From tinsel to toys and, of course, Tink, the star of our festive video, our Christmas Fair was a roaring success.

“Held in our barn, visitors had the chance to browse the craft stalls for a bit of Christmas shopping, sample some tasty food and meet our resident rescue horses.

“Tink has been reserved by new owners, which is great news.

“We welcomed more than 150 people and were lucky to have some wonderful toys donated to us by Hamley’s.

“Father Christmas was there to meet and greet the children. We also enjoyed carols performed by local music group Voices Choir, all in all raising more than £1,300 for our centre, which is amazing. We are so grateful for the support we receive from the public, our visitors and our local community here in Wormley.”
