THIS year’s popular annual Headley Fun Run, organised by the Headley Sports Association, will take place on Bank Holiday Monday, May 1.

The five-mile, multi-terrain run takes place around lanes and tracks.

Children under 14 can run a shorter two-mile distance. This year marks the event’s 30th anniversary, with attendees helping to raise money for sport in the village and for other nominated local charities.

The run starts at 10am from the Headley Sports Pavilion at Headley Playing Fields in Mill Lane.

Registration will be open from 8.45am to 9.45am. Entry costs £8 per adult, but under 14s and over 60s can enter for £5.

On the day, entries will incur a 50p clerical fee, subject to places left.
