SURREY County Council has announced which of Farnham's crumbling roads are to be tackled under its £100m Operation Horizon scheme to replace 310 miles of the county's worst roads over the next five years.
The list is headed by the notorious Station Hill, with other roads in the first year's programme to include the worst sections of Farnborough Road, Weybourne Road, Lower Weybourne Lane and Wrecclesham Hill.
The town centre roads will have to wait until year 2 of the programme, 2014/15, when Downing Street, The Borough, Union Road, Dogflud Way and Hale Road are among roads featuring in the resurfacing programme.
