POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a burglary in Camelsdale.
The home, on Camelsdale Road, was unoccupied from 8.10am on September 7 and it is believed access was gained through an unlocked patio door sometime between then and 4.50pm, police said.
A silver strap Rolex watch worth more than £6,000 was taken as well as two iPods, a mobile phone and cash, including around 130 Euros and £50.
It follows two other burglaries in the area last month, one of which was in Marley Combe Road, Camelsdale, on August 19. The other was in Vann Road, Fernhurst, on August 4.
In both cases, raiders got in during the day. Cash and jewellery were taken from the home in Marley Combe Road and around 300 Euros and $80 was stolen from Vann Road.
Detective Constable Emma Fields said: “We would like to speak with anyone who may have seen something suspicious in Camelsdale Road during the day. We would also like to remind local residents to be extra vigilant and ensure their houses are secure.”
Anyone with information should call the police on 101.
