A CHARITY football match is to be held in memory of a Farnham man who passed away last year.

The ‘Say Balls to Cancer’ football match is being held in memory of Brian Agate, who died in September 2018 from cancer.

The event will take place at the Farnham United Football Ground, on Monkton Lane this Saturday (September 7).

Kick off is at 3pm, with a raffle set to take place at 5pm.

There will also be a cake sale and games to play, as well as refreshments such as tea, coffee and soft drinks.

Nephew of Brian, Grant Usher said the group were aiming to “bring as many people there on the day to show our support for Macmillan cancer support and spread awareness”.

All raised will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support.
