The season of goodwill is evident at Farnham Foodbank as a healthcare provider and school have been thanked for their support.

The good cause received £350 from the Nuffield Health Christmas Collection while the appropriately-named St Nicholas School provided a bumper donation.

“So many schools, churches and businesses have supported us this year,” said Fiona Brooks, project manager.

“They have all been incredibly generous and we would like to say thank you to Farnham Community.”

With Christmas nearly wrapped up the foodbank would be grateful for some non-festive items in addition to treats, as stocks of tinned ham, custard powder, instant mash and toilet roll could do with topping up.
