PHYLLIS Tuckwell Hospice has received £5,000 from T Baker (JUNR) Ltd, a metal recycling yard in Wrecclesham.

The money was raised through donations of aluminium cans, old radiators and other scrap metal from the public, which Michael White, owner of T Baker (JUNR) Ltd, then recycled, donating the money raised to Phyllis Tuckwell. Mr White has been raising money for Phyllis Tuckwell for a number of years now and has donated more than £21,000 in total.

Paul Pearson, corporate fundraiser at the hospice, said: “We would like to thank Mr White for this generous donation and for his continued support over the years.”

T Baker (JUNR) Ltd is happy to take any scrap metal for recycling. Those interested should take any items to the company’s yard in School Hill, Wrecclesham.
