YOUNG Thespians at Farnham Heath End School captivated their audience with a performance of Romeo and Juliet (with a twist!) on April 23.

Drama teacher Sara Winthrop, a great fan of Romeo and Juliet who has taught Shakespeare for many years, produced the show, and it was well-received by the approximate 180 members of the crowd.

The cast, which included Grace Balchin (Juliet), Harry Windiate (Romeo), Anakah Menon (Juliet’s friend) and Alfie Gelder (Benvolio), all gave fantastic performances.

The production was made without using any of the school’s budget, after Mrs Winthrop and the students secured sponsorship from Smart Bodyshop in Aldershot, and the school hopes to stage more productions before Christmas.
