A SHOPKEEPER from the Forest Centre was left outraged on Thursday when a thief stole goods in full view of other customers. The man, aged in his late teens to early 20s, entered the Inspirations shop and stole two items, despite a number of witnesses. Inspirations owner Becky Harms said: "In my five years here, I haven't seen anything like this. Two of my regulars saw the man pick something up and put it under his coat. "Then as he was leaving he paused by the door, bent over and picked up a giant bear that would have cost £50. The audacity of it all is what makes me so cross. "Before he came into the shop, he was overheard talking on his mobile, and he said 'I'm just going to get your Valentine's present.' It's disgusting."
