SHOWSHACK dance and theatre school in Farnham will celebrate its 20th anniversary with two charity performances at the Princes Hall in Aldershot this weekend.

The production, Showtime 2015, will be performed on Saturday and Sunday (November 14 and 15) featuring performances from popular musicals, films and dance styles.

“Showtime is not a small dance school production,” said a Showshack spokesman. “All of the songs, routines and pieces have been choreographed by our superb professional staff who have the benefit of TV and West End experiences and have many amazing ideas.

“This exciting show will use live music from talented West End musicians and an accomplished conductor along with professional lighting and staging.”

Showshack principal Pauline Thomson staged the first Showtime back in 2002 along with a friend, Kim Miller, to raise funds for the St Luke’s Cancer Centre in Guildford.

Sadly Kim passed away in 2006 and in her memory Showshack continues to raise funds and support St Luke’s, raising £31,000 to date. Its 2012 Showtime raised a record £11,000.

Tickets for Showtime 2015 can be booked online at www.showshack.co.uk or alternatively by calling 01252 723956.

Showshack offers classes for all ages.
