A REVITALISED Farnham Society bringing real pressure to bear on the local authorities is the aim of its new chairman.

Alan Gavaghan, who has lived in Farnham for 21 years and is a former chairman of Moor Park Residents' Association, said he has taken on a job that, to his surprise, no-one else seemed to want.
