A YOUNG soldier died in what is being labelled as a tragic accident after he took part in a military training exercise at Longmoor over May 13 and May 14.
Lance Corporal Andrew Bowden (24) from Stockport, and serving in the Royal Logistics Corps, had begun to prepare to ride a motorcycle for the second time in the 24 hour endurance event. L/Cpl Bowden went into his tent to lie down and five minutes later, team mates found the soldier had stopped breathing.
