PEOPLE who have signed up to the Sainbury’s Sport Relief Mile in Bordon on Sunday, March 20, will be doing their bit to help those in the UK and the world living tough lives.

Fundraisers can opt to be sponsored to run one, three or six miles, and there is still time to sign up.

Sue Lewis, from Mill Chase Leisure Centre in Bordon, said: “We are delighted that so many people have already signed up, but we want even more people to make it the best Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile yet.

“So let’s show the rest of the country what we can do and raise as much money as we possibly can for this incredible cause to help transform the lives of people living here in the UK and around the world.”

This year’s event will take place at Mill Chase Leisure Centre in Bordon, as well as the Taro Leisure Centre in Petersfield.

Television’s Sport Relief night on is on BBC One next Friday, March 18, at 7pm.

Since 2002, Sport Relief has raised more than £262m to help people living tough lives across the UK and in the world’s poorest communities.
