THE deadline for the 2016 East Hampshire Sports Awards has been extended to Monday, January 25.

The awards evening will be hosted by ITV’s Fred Dinenage and the guest speaker is Roger Black.

East Hampshire District Council is particularly on the lookout for nominations in the following categories: Official of the Year; Senior Disability Sportsman and Sportswoman; Junior Disability Sportsman and Sportswoman; Junior Volunteer of the Year; Senior Sportsman and Senior Sports Woman; Outstanding Personal Achievement.

Nominees and nominators will be invited to the East Hampshire Sports Awards at the Old Thorns Manor Hotel in Liphook, on Thursday, February 11.

The East Hampshire District Sports Awards recognise sportsmen and women at every level, and the coaches, officials and volunteers who work behind the scenes to help athletes and clubs succeed.
