THE Garden Centre Association (GCA) has announced the winners of its Christmas Competition and Squire’s Badshot Lea has come first out of all garden centres in the South Thames Region.

The judges scored Squire’s Badshot Lea highly because of their Christmas displays, the ambience of the garden centre, the events that it put on and its Christmas menu in the Café Bar.

Sarah Squire, Squire’s deputy chairman, said: “This prestigious award recognises and rewards the talent and enthusiasm of the Squire’s Badshot Lea team, who have put together fantastic festive displays and activities. We are thrilled to have this recognition from our trade organisation, the Garden Centre Association, who set the standards for excellence in the industry.”
