ST Peter's Primary School has achieved its best Ofsted rating for more than a decade, after the Wrecclesham school was graded 'good' in all categories by inspectors. It comes after Ofsted previously gave the school its second lowest possible rating on three consecutive occasions – two 'satisfactory' ratings in 2007 and 2010 and a 'requires improvement' rating in 2012. St Peter's has been under new leadership since January 2013 and the inspectors noted that there had been rapid improvement at the school, leading to good progress in attainment and higher standards all round. Headteacher Sarah Dunning said: "We are so pleased that the inspectors recognised so many positives at St Peter's. We were given the grade we deserve and this is down to the whole team."
