THE Waverley Community Safety Executive is to carry out a Fear of Crime Survey to find out the views of residents on issues of community safety, crime and disorder and victimisation.
When the executive was set up its first Crime Audit identified that although the crime rate within the borough is very low, there is a relatively high fear of becoming the victim of crime. This fear has been confirmed in a subsequent consultation exercise.
