CHAWTON residents have given an ultimatum to Thames Water about the flooding and sewage problems which have beset properties near St Nicholas Church since December.
They have given engineers two weeks to come up with a long-term solution to the problem of the waters from the swollen Lavant Stream which it is feared could breach a pipe carrying sewage from Four Marks to Alton.
