FARNHAM Decorative and Fine Arts Society will hold a study morning at Farnham Maltings later this month on the subject Paintbrushes at Dawn: the World’s Greatest Artistic Feuds.
The session will take place in the Maltings’ Barley Room between 10.30am and 1pm on Tuesday, November 24.
Farnham DFAS member Barry Venning will discuss artistic feuds over the centuries, from early Renaissance artists, Brunelleschi and Ghiberti, to the feuds between Constable and Turner, Salvador Dali and the Surrealist leader, André Breton in the 1930s to, most recently, Hockney and Hirst.
