Haslemere Stroke Club celebrated a landmark 30th anniversary for its weekly Wednesday afternoon meetings at Holy Cross Hospital. Town mayor John Robini was special guest and first chair Elaine Maggs, who is still a volunteer, was presented with a special gift. She joined current chair Sarah Fairbairn, past and present helpers and Haslemere Rotary members for tea and cake.

Previous chair Julia Scholfield and physiotherapists Philly Hall and Helen Gardner were also among the guests.
