A PETERSFIELD charity which has donated tens of thousands of pounds to good causes for more than 20 years is to close.

The Eight O'Clock Club's treasurer since it was founded in 1990, Hilary Jarman, said this week: "We have now only got 11 members, two of whom are over 80 and another four under 70. A couple of our members have been quite ill and we all decided that we have run out of steam and can't cope with it any more."
