VOTERS in two wards head to the polls on Monday, September 4, to elect new representatives onto Whitehill Town Council.

The by-election was called after David Cooper and Rigby Andrews resigned, leaving two of Whitehill Town Council’s 15 seats unfilled.

Polling stations will be open between 7am and 10pm at the Forest Community Centre on Pinehill Road, Bordon, and at Whitehill Village Hall in Whitehill.

The candidates hoping to fill the vacant seat for Whitehill Deadwater Ward are:

* Ian Greenep (Independent)

* Charles Greenway (Conservative)

* Andy Tree (Whitehill and Bordon Community Party)

* Paul Wigman (Liberal Democrat)

The candidates seeking election for Whitehill Hogmoor Ward are:

* Phillip Davies (Conservative)

* Tony Gray (Liberal Democrat)

* Jason Toovey (Whitehill & Bordon Community Party)

Whitehill Town Council currently comprises 10 councillors from the Conservative Party and three from Whitehill and Bordon Community Party.
