SOLDIERS from the Princess of Wales' Royal Regiment joined hundreds of townsfolk and dignitaries in the Remembrance Day service at Farnham war memorial on Sunday.

Lieutenant Rogers, Troop Commander of 3rd Battalion PWRR, laid a wreath on behalf of the regiment, followed by the mayor of Farnham, the Royal British Legion, and many youth groups.

The service, which included a two-minute silence and was led by Reverend Joy Lievesley, was preceded by a parade with the Alder Valley Brass Band and followed by a service of remembrance at St Andrew's Church.
