TRAFFIC delays are likely across Farnham over the Easter break with several roadworks schemes set to clash in the town centre, East Street and the A31 Farnham Bypass.

South East Water is set to repair a faulty water supply outside 9A Castle Street, requiring temporary traffic lights from Tuesday, April 3, to Saturday, April 7.

This will coincide with a lane closure in Downing Street, outside men’s clothing store Room Ten, by the same utility company from April 3-6.

A lane will also be closed on the A325 in East Street outside The Barbican for sewer repairs by Thames Water for just under a fortnight, from April 3-15.

The county council will close several residential roads for resurfacing over the holiday period, while roadworks are also due on the A287 in Farnham Road, Farnborough Road, and on the B3001 through Elstead.
