THEY'RE the people we all love to hate – and they're coming to a street near you.

Malcolm Bray, Steve Temple and Robert Hockley are just three of the 14 parking attendants that will soon prowl East Hampshire.

East Hampshire District Council and Havant Borough Council will gain responsibility for parking enforcement from the police on April 16.

Their attendants, or civil enforcement officers, will hit the street on April 2 for a two-week 'cooling period' before parking D-Day.
