RAIL commuters could benefit from a link from Medstead and Four Marks station, using the Mid Hants Railway line to connect with mainline services at Alton.

Go! Co-operative, trading as GoCo, is to trial a unique "low carbon" ultra light rail service, for four weeks from Monday, January 24, to test demand.

The 50-seat Parry People Mover railcar is designed to meet the demand for a convenient and sustainable rail service to cut the need for commuters to drive and park at Alton station.
