AFTER escaping becoming someone's Christmas dinner Queenie the turkey, found wandering along the busy A325 in Bordon last month, has escaped the chop again and is to be re-homed with a "loving family" by the animal shelter where she was taken.
A passer-by saw Queenie - named after Great Escape star Steve McQueen - as the bird made her way along the side of the road at more of a fast trot than a run and was able to capture the rather ruffled turkey before contacting The Ark Animal Shelter in Stubbington.
