The pupils and staff at Undershaw Education in Hindhead are celebrating a wonderful set of GCSE, BTEC and Functional Skills results.

Seventy per cent of GCSE papers were marked at grade 4 or above, with 50 per cent achieving at least grade 5.

Pupils excelled in GCSE science, mathematics and computing, some achieving the top grades of 9 to 7.

Unprecedented BTEC results were achieved, with the school’s first Distinction* grades in both music and animal care. Equally impressive was that 100 per cent of pupils entered into Level 2 BTEC qualifications achieved at least a Pass grade.

There was a 100 per cent pass rate for Year 10 and Year 11 pupils who completed the Functional Skills L1 in English and mathematics.
