Battle lines are being drawn now that developer Charles Church has confirmed that it will be submitting a planning application for up to 180 houses in Lindford early next year.
Lindford residents have threatened to put placards throughout the village to warn off potential buyers if a new housing estate is built at the bottom of Chase Road.
