VISITORS are invited to experience an extraordinary museum dedicated to Britain’s first ever Formula One world champion and Farnham ‘legend’ Mike Hawthorn.

Mike’s death came only months after winning the F1 title racing for Scuderia Ferrari at the Moroccan Grand Prix – January 2017 marked 58 years since his death in 1959.

The Mike Hawthorn Museum was established by Nigel Webb, who in it expresses his commitment to his motorsport hero. The museum is located in the grounds of his property in rural West Sussex and was opened in May 2009.

Nigel, whose interest in cars and aeroplanes started in childhood, has been a collector of Mike’s memorabilia for several years, and it was because of this he decided to create a museum devoted to the motorsport champion.

It is a private museum, therefore those interested in visiting should contact Nigel via his website at www.mike-hawthorn.org.uk.
