GRUNDON has not ruled out an appeal after Hampshire county councillors threw out a planning application for a toxic landfill site at Grooms Farm on Monday.
The company was proposing to extract clay from the site and in-fill the void with household, commercial and inert waste, along with APC (incinerator) residue. After the decision on Monday, anti-tip campaigners said they were delighted the application had been refused.
