PHYLLIS Tuckwell Hospice Care has been presented with a cheque for £500 from members of Aldershot Inner Wheel.

Inner Wheel is one of the largest women’s service organisations in the world.

Members of the Aldershot branch meet monthly, finding long-lasting friendships at its welcoming club, and promoting its three objectives of friendship, personal service and international understanding.

Together they fundraise, serving the local community and having fun at the events which they organise.

The £500, which could pay for three days’ care from one of Phyllis Tuckwell’s complementary therapists, was raised by a very successful afternoon tea in June.

This was well attended by the club’s own members as well as members of other Inner Wheel clubs, friends and family.
