A WOMAN and two children were hurt during a car crash in Alresford last week.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a black Audi A3 was in collision with a green Ford Fiesta on Jacklyns Lane, near The Cricketers pub, at just after 9am last Thursday, October 22.

The female driver of the Fiesta was taken to Southampton General Hospital with injuries which, while serious, are no longer believed to be life-threatening.

Two children, a five-year old boy and a 10-year old girl, who were passengers in the vehicle, were taken to the same hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of the Audi was treated at the scene and Jacklyns Lane was closed for several hours.
