40 DEGREEZ youth centre in Farnham will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a youth festival for all the family on Saturday, July 16.

There will be a number of hands-on activities for toddlers and children from noon until 4pm and after that the music starts and the audience can enjoy a range of local talent until 8pm.

Refreshments of many kinds will be served throughout the festival.

One of the afternoon activities is being provided by Creation Station, an arts and crafts organisation which runs sessions at the 40 Degreez Centre every Tuesday and Thursday mornings.

“We’re going to be looking at the theme of celebrating,” said Creation Station’s local organiser Becky. “It is the 10th anniversary of 40 Degreez and the 90th birthday of the Queen so we thought we would make crowns and decorate them.

“We have all sorts of exciting materials to use and the festival day session is open to all ages.”
