CHARLOTTE Daniels has been named Haslemere Hockey Club’s Under-14 Player of the Month for December.

A pupil at Woolmer Hill School, Charlotte started playing in the club’scunder-8 squad and, after two years, decided to try her hand (and feet) at goalkeeping.

She now trains and plays regularly for the U14 girls.

She recently heard that she has been selected for Hampshire as one of three keepers in the U14 age group. She said: “One of my biggest hockey dreams would be to play for England in the future. I know it’s a big deal, but it’s worth aiming for.”
