Horndean have made their fifth new signing of the summer with the arrival of young centre-half Coby Killick, writes Jack Norris.

Coby comes from the Eastleigh academy, where he previously played under Horndean’s assistant manager Andy Darnton - known as ‘Darts’ to many of his players. Last season he had a stint in the Wessex Premier with Millbrook.

Coby said: “I'm buzzing for the challenge ahead. It's a great opportunity for me. Having worked with Darts before, there was always a connection. I enjoyed my time playing under him at Eastleigh, so saw this as a good opportunity at a good club.

“I also know Shaun Hale, he's got a very decent record as a manager and I've heard great things about him. It's really a no-brainer for me. Having played with some of the other lads previously, this will really help me get settled. I'm looking forward to getting going.”
