CHESSINGTON 0, BADSHOT LEA 3

TEENAGE striker Ross Frisby scored twice as Badshot Lea picked up three valuable points at Chessington & Hook.

It was swift revenge for the Baggies who had lost 1-0 to Chessington in the Southern Combination Cup in midweek.

The visitors had to work hard for the win on a very grassy and soft pitch, but they eventually followed up last week’s impressive win over top-five side Horley with another 3-0 result, pushing them ever closer to mid-table in the Combined Counties Premier Division.

In the difficult conditions, it came as a relief when Mason Saunders broke the deadlock on the half-hour mark.

A hard-fought second half was illuminated by 18-year-old Frisby’s brace of goals. The first was well taken from close in, the second was a superb long-range strike into the top corner.

Only ten minutes remained at that stage and Ben Dillon’s men easily closed out the game.
